The Kentucky Bee Company is located in southeast Kentucky with apiaries in the gently rolling landscapes and mixed hardwood forests of Laurel and Jackson Counties. We employ a science based approach in the management of our bees - we try to be gentle with them when we work them, we use as little smoke as possible, and we do not 'rob' them to the brink of starvation ensuring that there are plenty of 'honey stores' left in the supers going into winter. ¯ We feel that if we do not treat our bees with the upmost of respect, our venture would not be successful.
