Carla Thompson is the author of “The Busy Woman’s Pocket Guide to Safety”.  She developed most of the safety tips in her book, while she lived in Detroit.  She has been in all of the situations most busy career oriented women find themselves in everyday and is very passionate about educating them concerning their personal safety.  She is the owner of Ladies First Publishing, LLC.  She went to Communications & Media Arts High School, attended U of D Mercy for her undergraduate degree and Oakland University for her MBA.  She currently lives in Westland, MI with her husband Andre Thompson.
