Mission:

The Mission of Lake Forest School District 67 is to inspire and empower all students to maximize their growth as learners and develop a balanced sense of self, steadfast resiliency, and deep respect for others. 

About Us:

The school district is recognized both state-wide and nationally for its innovative, instructional practices and solid educational programs.

The majority of our students score in the top stanines on standardized achievement tests and meet or exceed state standards on the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT).

The K-8 curriculum includes advanced programs, gifted classes, and special needs support services allowing for the development of the whole child. All educational programs are designed to continuously meet the changing needs of students in our dynamic world.

District 67 has three K-4 elementary schools (Cherokee, Everett and Sheridan) and one 5-8 middle school (Deer Path). The middle school operates through two offices: Deer Path East for grades 5-6, and Deer Path West for grades 7-8. District 67 serves the residents of Lake Forest.

Everett Elementary School, 279 students

Sheridan Elementary School, 226 students

Deer Path Middle School, 881 (total) students 

East (Grades 5/6), 422 students

West (Grades 7/8), 459 students
