About Us
The Lake Whitney Arts Association was founded in August of 2004 to promote the arts in the Lake Whitney Area. The founding members saw a need for more local support of the arts, and began working towards the organizing of theatrical productions in the area. Since then, the organization has put on several plays, has hosted photo contests, hosted drawing and painting classes, and a held summer craft and drama camps for children. We hope to continue these activities as we build a Performing and Visual Arts Center for the Area. Community support is a must, so we encourage everyone to look around a see what we have planned.
