Laurel Elementary School is located in the Northern part of Prince George’s County, approximately twenty miles from all of the resources of the Nation’s Capital. Immediately north of the school is Howard County, and east of the school is Anne Arundel County. It is located one block from Main Street, which has been a commercial street in Laurel’s Historic District for over 150 years. The school’s vision is concise: We envision a school where all students can and will learn the skills of reading, writing and mathematics. We also believe that parents are important partners in school and together we can provide many opportunities for social, emotional and academic growth.
