About Us:

The LWV Sanibel was established in 2010 as a nonpartisan organization to provide Sanibel residents with voter services and educational forums about national, state and local legislative issues. In addition to voter registration services, our League works to insure that every voter has fair and unbiased information to understand ballot issues and the candidates' opinions. We never support or oppose candidates or parties, but we are political. We study public policy issues so we can educate ourselves and our fellow citizens about them. After study and debate, we sometimes take stands on issues so that we can support or oppose ballot measures, proposed laws and government actions.
