About us:

The Lebanon Community Theatre's got its start in 1962 holding performances at various locations. In 1962 they purchased the Weidle horse barn (Die Rote Scheier) near 10th and Oak St. in Lebanon for the grand sum of $3,500. (Of course in those days the price of a show ticket was $2 or $3). The theatre enjoyed its new home for five years until the fateful day, April 23, 1971, when the Lebanon Daily News front page headline read: "Lebanon Community Theatre Destroyed By Fire".

The next ten shows were held in the Independent Fire hall, and by February 1975, an agreement had been reached with the City Of Lebanon, and LCT made its home in the place we all know and love today as "the theatre", in the lovely park setting adjacent to Stoever's Dam.
