The Lewis County Writers Guild (aka LCWG) is a writers' group in Lewis County, Washington that seeks to educate, support, and encourage writers in the area. All writers and wannabe writers from the local and surrounding areas are welcome to join us.The Guild was formed in November 2008, after a record number of local writers (40) attempted Nanowrimo. Fifteen of them went on to win by writing 50,000 words on their novels that month.The Guild meets on the third Friday of each month (with the exception of July and August) for education, support and networking. A critique group meets to read and discuss writing work on the second and fourth Fridays of each month. Many guild members also participate in National Novel Writing Month each November.
