Liberty Corner Fire Company

95 Church St

Comprised of 45 volunteers, the Liberty Corner Fire Company is responsible for providing fire and rescue service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to the Liberty Corner section of Bernards Township. In fact, we have been providing volunteer fire and rescue service to the Liberty Corner community since 1910.

As you may know, Bernards Township is divided into two main sections - Liberty Corner (in the southern portion of the Township) and Basking Ridge (in the northern portion of the Township). Within the Liberty Corner section of the Bernards, our fire and rescue service area is comprised of approximately 16 square miles (of the 26 square miles in Bernards Township) and over 6,500 residences and businesses. Therefore, if you live or work in the southern portion of Bernards Township, it is the Liberty Corner Fire Company that provides you with fire and rescue services.

In addition to protecting our community, the volunteers of the Liberty Corner Fire Company are responsible for raising the majority of the funds used to satisfy the fire company's annual operating budget. Our volunteers work hard during the year to raise these necessary funds through our Annual Fund Drive mailing, our holiday gift delivery and the other fund raising
events we host each year. It is through the success of these fund raising efforts that we are able to provide the community with new and improved fire fighting and rescue equipment and our volunteer firefighters with the latest training in fire fighting and rescue techniques.
Please feel free to stop by and visit us at the Liberty Corner firehouse located at 95 Church Street (just west of the Liberty Corner school). Members can often be found at the firehouse on Monday nights (for training exercises) or late Sunday mornings (performing routine and preventive maintenance to the equipment). Additionally, please join us when we host our various events throughout the year such as our Memorial Day parade, our Fire Prevention Day and our Holiday parade to name a few. These events provide a fun and exciting way for you to visit the firehouse and meet the volunteers dedicated to protecting you, your family and our community.

We hope that you never need our services; however, if you do, rest assured that we will be there for you.
