LifeCare Ambulance Inc. is a Lorain County Service with the purpose of providing the highest quality emergency, non-emergency ambulance and wheelchair service possible. We are also the primary EMS provider for the cities of Lorain, Elyria, Amherst, South Amherst and Carlisle Township, assisting LaGrange, Oberlin and Grafton village as well.

The LifeCare service area covers over 100 square miles which includes four cities and two townships, with a combined population of approximately 160,000 lives. We also provide back-up emergency paramedic service when needed for surrounding communities. Other contracted services include EMS coverage for the Ohio Turnpike and three large state prisons
