Living Word Family Church

1890 West Acoma Boulevard

Vision:

Living Word Family Church is a restoration ministry. We believe that we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ.

In Christ we have the heart of a champion, the mind of an over comer, and the spirit of a conqueror. We are a church with direction and purpose. Our mission is to preach salvation to the lost, healing to the broken hearted, deliverance to the captive and winning people to Christ one soul at a time.

We are a family church where the love of God abides in the hearts of the people. We are proclaiming Arizona a state of Faith, Faith in Jesus Christ, Faith based on the Word of God.

Beliefs:

The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God (2Timothy 3:16, 2Peter 1:20-21.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father; God the Son; and God the Holy Spirit.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is deity in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in his bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the father, in his personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule for one thousand years. (John 1:1, 14; Acts 1:9-11; 2 Corinthians 5:1; Revelation 20:6)

There is a Blessed Hope-the rapture of the Church at Christ's coming. (Titus 2:13; I Thessalonians 4:16-17)

The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ, in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Luke 24:47; I Peter 1:18-19; Romans 10:9-10)

Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. (John 3:3-5; Titus 3:5)

Water baptism and the Lord's Supper (or Communion) are ordinances to be observed by the church during the present age. However, they are not to be regarded as means of salvation. (Matthew 28:19; I Corinthians 11:24-30)

The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. (Matthew 8:17; I Peter 2:24; James 5:14-15)

The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. (Acts 1:4-8; 2:38-39)

The sanctifying power of the indwelling Holy Spirit enables the Christian to live a holy life. (I Corinthians 1:30; I Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 12:14)

There will be a resurrection of both the saved and lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation (Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 21)
