Mission

First Baptist Church Livingston exists to help people know and follow Jesus while loving people like Jesus. This mission is based on Jesus’ last words before returning to heaven, “Go and make disciples of all men…” (Matthew 28:18). This passage is known as The Great Commission, and it is the reason churches exist. How we are to carry out this mission is with love. Jesus said “Love the Lord your God… and love your neighbor.” (Luke 10:27)
