The staff at Long Hill Elementary School believes it is our responsibility to treat each child as we would like our own to be treated. Therefore, we are committed to creating a safe, caring environment designed to foster individual student success, academic achievement, responsibility, and self-esteem. The involvement of parents and the community as part of our team will ensure positive learning experiences for our students. We accept this responsibility to prepare our students to be contributing members of our society.

By the year 2007, it is our goal to become an Effective School whereby at least 95% of our students master the curriculum with no achievement gaps among student populations.
