John Luisi for Borough President (2009)

 A life-long Staten Islander with the experience to be the Borough President we need for Staten Island's future.

 John Luisi, like so many of us, voted for term limits twice. He opposed City elected officials giving themselves a third term, ignoring the will of the people. We can now enforce term limits by voting incumbents out.

 John believes in open access to government for everyone. As our Borough President, John Luisi will make sure government is transparent and is accountable to the people of Staten Island.

 Overdevelopment has overwhelmed our transportation system and resulted in clogged roads. As our Borough President, John Luisi will improve our infrastructure and provide real transit choices to alleviate traffic congestion.

 John knows the critical issues facing Staten Island and works to solve them. He has demostrated leadership throughout the Island and has worked with our community organizations to improve our quality of life. He is tired of politicians' broken promises.

 John Luisi is a graduate of PS 48, JHS 49, New Dorp HS, Columbia College and Fordham Law School.

 John has always defined himself by his actions and commitment to making Staten Island a better place to live, work and raise our families.
