Main Street Lincoln, an Illinois Main Street Designated Community, is a non-profit volunteer driven organization dedicated to the preservation and revitalization of our nationally registered downtown historic district and surrounding businesses. Main Street Lincoln focuses on these four areas pertaining to downtown Lincoln:

-Design - Encourage and facilitate beautification projects and historic preservation.
-Organization - Develop and improve a sustainable volunteer base through communication and fundraising.
-Promotions - Promote the downtown as the community's social, cultural, and economic center.
-Economic Restructuring - Strengthen and broaden the economic base of downtown through market analysis and development.

In addition to these committees, Main Street Lincoln has established a standing committee to promote our unique legacy.

-Heritage Tourism - Promote and market our distinct heritage with Abraham Lincoln to build tourism.
