About Us

MANNA is a unique organization that stands out in the community.  Unlike other area food banks, we never charge for our services and our only concern is the needs of our clients.  Other than the Executive Director, we are fully volunteer driven with very low overhead so the maximum amount of donations can go directly to operations and supplies.  With constant pressure from larger government-assisted programs to integrate into a more salary-laden bureaucracy, we stand firm in our commitment to remain a more effective grassroots organization putting the clients needs above all.  While we recognize the need for many different types of

organizations to support the challenges of our community, we truly believe the compassion, professionalism and flexibility of the MANNA program is the most efficient way to help our neighbors in need.

While our primary purpose is feeding people, we also work in unison with many organizations to help people in difficult situations get back on their feet.  By getting to know our clients, we can direct them towards other groups who can continue to care for them and hopefully, give them even more tools to rebuild their lives.
