We Volunteer Because Your Life Depends On It! The Marbletown Fire Company is a public fire and EMS protection organization which is comprised of only volunteer members. The company is paid for by the taxpayers of our district and by donations from the district residents. The Marbletown Fire Company works with several other fire companies in the area to provide better protection in the Marbletown, Kripplebush, Hurley, Stone Ridge, Lomontville, and Cottekill Fire Districts. Our company was founded in 1940. The only living charter member is Kenny Cole Sr., who was Grand Marshall in the UCVFA annual parade and convention 1997.
