To create and foster a spirit of understanding among all people for humanitarian needs by providing voluntary services through community involvement and international cooperation.

About the Club:

The Maywood Lions Club was chartered in 1939. It was started in order to offer people the opportunity to give back to their community. In keeping with that spirit of giving back the Maywood Lions Club is currently involved in projects such as the Christmas Toy Drive, Thanksgiving Turkey give away, fund raising and eyeglass collection. Maywood Lion's helping effort is as far reaching as the annual Ensenada clothes drive, and orphanage visit.

The Maywood Lions Club also provides financial help to children and senior citizens in need of eyeglasses through the Maywood Lions Club participation in the Sightfirst program. The Maywood Lions Club has always worked with its communities in order to building a brighter future for tomorrow.
