McLean Newcomers Club

Post Office Box 6166

Our club was founded in 1969 to create  new friendships, provide opportunities for socializing and acquaint residents with the community.   We sponsor many group activities including Book discussions, Bridge, Canasta, Cultural Tours, Gourmet Groups, House and Garden Tours, Inter- national Cooking, Lettuce Lunches, Mah Jong, Monthly Luncheons with Speakers Monthly Coffees, Movie Mamas, Needle Working/knitting, Outdoor Recreation, Restaurant Critics, Scrap Booking and Tea in Town.  As you can see, we have lots of fun.

If you are thinking of moving to our area in Northern Virginia, we would love to hear from you.  It's an exciting place to live and work with easy access to Washington's national monuments and memorials, the Smithsonian Museums, opera and theater, the National Symphony Orchestra, professional sports teams, the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley, historic towns, the Potomac River, Chesapeake Bay and popular ocean beaches.
