About

McMullen students are being introduced to robotics using Lego WeDo construction sets.  Based upon the latest science standards, Lego WeDo systems are designed with the elementary student in mind using easy-to-understand concepts to guide students in designing, building and programming simple mechanical machines.

McMullen Elementary has 12 WeDo kits which are housed in the school library. The kits were purchased with grant monies obtained through the Loudonville-Perrysville School Foundation and The Ashland County Community Foundation.

Our school is located in Loudonville, Ohio at the southern tip of Ashland County. We have Preschool through third graders, and our school population is 490 students. Loudonville-Perrysville is a rural district. McMullen Elementary has a Venture Capital Grant from the Ohio Department of Education to restructure the school. Our school community adopted the Accelerated School Project. All of our students are expected to learn and work together as a team
