Our Mission:

To provide nutritious meals, daily contact from a dedicated volunteer and to support independence while promoting the social, physical, and emotional well-being of seniors.

Our Vision:

To continuously improve our nutritional meal service programs through visionary leadership, professional training and develop partnerships to ensure seniors are able to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Our Goals:

The primary goal of Meals on Wheels of Solano County, Inc. is to provide nutritious (1/3 of Dietary Reference Intakes) dietitian approved meals - daily.

    - To work with our volunteers on communication while delivering meals to our  in-home clients.
    - To provide meals at our congregate dining sites, at the local Senior Centers throughout Solano County.
    - To seek collaborative program support from local health institutions and government.
    - To communicate awareness of  our meal services and the need for volunteers from the community, and monetary contributions using the website, the Board of Directors, the staff, public speaking, emails, newsletters, fundraisers, and direct mailings.
