Memorial Day Parade

This parade is the oldest parade on Long Island. This year marks its 130th. Veterans from all over the Island, politicians, police and fireman all march to honor our soldiers, past present and future. Parade assembles at the American Legion Hall on Marvin Avenue it then proceeds down Greenwich St to the cemetery where we place wreaths on our Civil War Monument. Afterwards everyone gathers at the Legion for refreshments.
