Mission

The mission of the Merrillville Chamber of Commerce, Inc. shall be to foster an economic climate in the Merrillville/Ross Township area conducive to the growth and development of its business community.

This mission shall be accomplished by creating a spirit of cooperation among its members and various organizations to advance the human progress within our trade area through an economic, political and cultural system based on individual freedom, incentive, initiative, opportunity and responsibility.

The Merrillville Chamber of Commerce, Inc. represents the views of all area businesses on local, state and national issues.

It is a leadership and service organization representing business and industry, large and small in all of the Chamber's trade and affected areas.
