Missions
Metro Baptist Church takes a very active part in worldwide missions activities. We sponsor several missionary families from our own congregation and many more on an individual basis. Every October our hearts are challenged through an annual mission's conference.

Jesus himself commanded us in The Great Commission to "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen"

We praise our Lord for allowing us to be a part of spreading the Gospel through supporting missionaries that He has called to go to the "end of the earth". At present our largest mission efforts are in the Orient, Brazil, and Romania. We have seen many people come to trust Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior through the work of these missionaries in foreign lands.
