Mission:

The Metro East Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary, membership-driven organization server the long-term interests of the Metro East area through active and effective involvement in matters of economic development, education excellence and civic government. To this end the Chamber serves, assists and represents its members and the business community by:

- Promoting a better understanding of our Private Enterprise System.

- Coordinating the efforts of commerce, industry and the professional of maintaining and strengthening a sound and healthy business climate.

- Sponsoring aggressive programs of action to stimulate activities which will provide for full development and employment of our human economic resources.

- Providing creative leadership and effective coordination of al interested parties in solving community problems and in initiating constructive community action.

- Creating a broad understanding and appreciation of the great opportunities in the Metro East area and promoting and advantages and assets of our commnities which will result in a healthy economic environment, within the area, in the state and in the nation.
