Mission Statement:

Minglewood Elementary School shares with organizations the responsibility for providing opportunities for each child to develop physically, emotionally, morally, intellectually, and socially. To achieve this goal, we believe that all students can learn when properly encouraged and motivated. The commitment and involvement of parents and the community are essential in providing meaningful educational experiences.

Minglewood Elementary School was built on the Cunningham family farm, consisting of 21 acres on Cunningham Lane. The school was designed by Rufus Johnson & Assoicates, Architects, Clarksville Tennessee. Hermitage Contractors, Inc. Nashville, Tennessee constructed it on 72,336 square feet. The school was built to accomodate 750 students in grades kindergarten through fifth. Eight classrooms were added onto the buidling in 1998. Presently Minglewood serves approximately 860 students.
