Purpose

This Association is organized for the purpose of advancing the common interests of its members and of the community, in general by:

1. Encouraging the growth of existing industries and businesses.

2. Giving proper assistance to any new firms or individuals seeking to locate in the Monessen area.

3. Cooperating with other organizations.

4. Holding meetings and seminars as deemed necessary.

5. Providing a source of information about Monessen.

6. Maintaining good relations with local government, the members' employees, and the general public.

7. Promoting cultural and social events.

8. Opposing those policies and activities that are deemed detrimental to the community.
