We are very proud to be one of the oldest CSA's in Colorado being our 19th year. Even more exciting is the fact we are celebrating our 75th year as an organic farm in 2011! Members pick up their shares at one of 27 locations including 13 in the Denver Metro area, 4 locations in Boulder, 2 in Ft. Collins and 1 location in Bailey, Broomfield, Grand Lake, Longmont, Louisville, Loveland, Steamboat and at the farm near Greeley. Summer Shares are delivered weekly starting mid to late June and continue through mid to late Oct. Winter Shares are delivered bi-weekly begining in Nov. and continue through February. Normal distribution hours are from 5:30 to 7:30pm however some distribution sites begin earlier to allow for traffic.

Monroe Organic Farm is the oldest organic farm in Colorado. In 1936, our family established the Monroe homestead in Weld County, and we have been growing organic produce ever since! We see ourselves as caretakers of this land that we have come to know like a cherished family member.

Our farming philosophy emphasizes taste over size and appearance. We constantly try new and unique varieties including heirlooms to find the best tasting vegetables our farm can produce.

In 1993, we organized as a community-supported agriculture (CSA) project because we wanted to work closely with people who appreciate our famiing philosophy.

As part of the farm diversity we have pastured raised pork, beef, lamb and free-ranged eggs.
