Monumental United Methodist Church is more than a building; it is a body. Monumental UMC is a body of believers, a caring community of people who share their lives and faith in Jesus Christ. Located in Olde Towne in the heart of Portsmouth, we are a historic church serving the present day with vigor and enthusiasm without compromising our rich Methodist heritage. Our worship, described as warm and traditional, is a reflection of our community. It is our goal to provide a meaningful experience that extends beyond Sundays, and because of that goal, a wonderful fellowship has been built in and beyond the walls of our Sanctuary.
