Morning Star Farm
Morning Star Farm is a small family owned and operated farm. We use Bio-dynamic and organic farming techinques to produce all our vegetables. We are located at the foot of the Sangre de Cristo Mountians in Taos, New Mexico at about 8000 ft. Our current 2010 CSA season will run through November 17th. This year we are selling lots of our heirloom veggies to local resturants as well. The 2010 garlic harvest was a good one, and due to many requests, we are going to sell the garlic on-line, both as seed stock and for eating.

Each year in March we start the CSA season with greens from our two commercial size greenhouses. Spring Argula is one of our members favorite crops. As the weather warms we run through the whole gamut of veggies, from peas to winter squash in late october. During the cold fall months we eat from the root vegetables; carrots, beets, turnips, parsnips, leeks, onions, garlic, rutabagas and more.
