About us:
Holgate Library opened in its current location in 1971, replacing the Arleta and Lents branch libraries, which had been serving this region of Southeast Portland since the early 1900s. The library was renovated in 2000.
Holgate offers books as well as audio and visual materials, periodicals and electronic resources in English and Spanish that can be accessed on site or from a home computer. This library also houses collections of materials in Russian, Vietnamese and Chinese. Holgate customers have access to Multnomah County Library's systemwide catalog of two million books and other library materials.
