Myles Center for the Arts

100 Campus Drive
304-637-1900

Inside Myles Center for the Arts on the campus of Davis & Elkins College the creative arts are celebrated.

From the 1,140-seat Harper-McNeeley Auditorium with its beautiful seating and state-of-the-art sound system, to the unique collection of centuries old artifacts of The Darby Collection, Myles Center is rejuvenating the arts not only for the campus community, but for the region.

The Center is named for College Board of Trustees member June Myles, whose generous financial support and hands-on planning turned the vision of arts revitalization into a reality.

Included in the Center is The Stirrup Gallery, home of The Darby Collection. Upstairs, Paull Gallery enhances the Center with open dance and exhibit space and downstairs, the Studio Art Department encompasses nearly 7,000 square feet of improved offices, technology labs and studio space.

The Center serves the community and the region as the largest performance venue in the area. From classical performances by the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra to popular concerts by America and The Oak Ridge Boys, Harper-McNeeley has showcased some of the best performances in the area. During the summer, the Auditorium comes alive with the exciting sounds of the Augusta Heritage Center's Concert Series, the College's internationally recognized center for traditional arts and music.
