Nevermore Farm
Our CSA boxes contain a generous array of often-unique fruits, nuts, vegetables and herbs with an emphasis on heirloom varieties. We encourage and support our clients learning about food preparation and preservation, and intentionally limit the size of our CSA in order to provide a high level of personal interaction with our members. Almost all of what we offer, we grow. Eggs from our heritage breed poultry are available on a first-come basis to subscribers. We deliver to your doorstep (with a few exceptions) in the corridor from Colusa to Davis and have limited ability to move boxes to outlying areas.

We are a sustainable, small farm that features CSA subscriptions, cut flower sales, sales to local restaurants, and the conservation and sale of rare heritage turkeys and chickens for both breed preservation and meat. We participate as vendors at the seasonal Woodland and Capay Valley, CA Farmer's Markets, and also sell products such as eggs, loofahs, gourds and feathers. We focus on bringing the vanishing flavors and colors of heirloom fruits and vegetables to our customers. We are not certified organic but use a philosophy we describe as "beyond organic"--we adhere largely to organic practices but will use some conventional techniques on non-row crop areas of our farm. We use customized organic nutrition program for all our crops, and under no circumstances are insecticides ever used on or near our food-bearing plants.
