New Dominion Women's Club
About Us:
The New Dominion Women's Club is a member of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and the GFWC of Virginia. NDWC evolved from the Junior Women's Club of McLean, which was formed in 1968 with eight members. In 1991, the club moved from "junior" to "general" status and was renamed the New Dominion Women's Club. In 2000, the club requested and was granted 501(c)(3) status as a tax-exempt nonprofit organization.
NDWC has received many awards and recognitions. In 2004, NDWC was named the Nonprofit Association of the Year by the McLean Chamber of Commerce. The club's fundamental purpose of community service and fellowship among women remains as strong today as it was in 1968.
