Mission:

Our mission is to be the premier source for medical education rooted in the traditions of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine for the next generation of healthcare providers.

About Us:

The New England School of Acupuncture has been synonymous with excellence in acupuncture education for over 40 years. We are pleased to announce that NESA is now part of the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS), making us the largest acupuncture school operating within a regionally accredited health sciences university.

MCPHS is built on a tradition of innovation in healthcare education. With more than 108 healthcare programs, MCPHS provides our students with a vibrant institution made up of the healthcare leaders of tomorrow.  Our students earn more than a graduate degree in acupuncture or Chinese Herbal Medicine; they gain a professional edge on the frontier of healthcare.

This is an unparalleled collaboration between Eastern and Western expertise, which opens our students up to an exciting world of integrative healthcare. By studying alongside future pharmacists, nurses, physical therapists, and others, our students immerse themselves in an environment totally dedicated to healthcare.  The result is hands-on experience in integrative medicine-and team-based care as well as an understanding of acupuncture’s role in improving a patient’s health and wellness.

Beginning fall 2016, our incoming students will live and learn in newly designed, state-of-the-art facilities on the MCPHS–Worcester campus. These innovative facilities, which include specially designed clinic space for Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, will be outfitted with industry defining equipment.

Through the dynamic MCPHS–Worcester campus, our students now have access to all the latest classroom technology, clinical opportunities, interdisciplinary training, faculty access, library resources, career services, and networking potential that a university can offer.

This is the model the rest of higher education – and the healthcare industry – looks to emulate. This is the New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS.
