About us
Founded in 1967, we are one of the larger and more active clubs in Orange County. We have been voted BEST CLUB IN OUR DISTRICT for the last two years. We are proud of our legacy of fun, fellowship and service to mankind. Our club theme this year is Lead the Way with Service, Fun and Class.
During this second year of Rotary's second century, we have committed to increase our emphasis on our local community while remaining highly involved in international efforts. We have new and ongoing projects in Africa, Mexico, the Philippines, Korea and Myanmar (Burma). In our community we are making an increased effort to get the word out about Rotary. Too many of our neighbors do not have any idea of the scope of Rotary International (RI). Once they learn what we do they want to become involved. There are few organizations working locally and internationally that accomplish what Rotary does every day.
One major initiative this year is to begin a long term mentoring program for young adults to provide support to them as they leave high school and enter the work force or head off for more schooling.
