NJCC Hospice is a hospice agency that currently serves residents of Ocean, Monmouth, and Cumberland county.   We choose to remain a small hospice because we strive for quality and much more personalized care for our patients and their families.  Our hospice team goes wherever our patient is whether that is at home, in a hospital, or a nursing facility.

Hospice may be appropriate when:

Patient has life limiting illness                                 Patient has experienced serious weight loss

Patient requires daily pain medication                  Patient is no longer seeking curative treatments

Patient has recurrent hospitalizations                   Patient has difficulty completing daily tasks

Patient and family want the benefits of hospice              

Physician has determined that hospice is appropriate

Our services are covered 100% by Medicare, and include:

Home medical equipment and related medications

Pain and symptom management

Emotional, social, and spiritual support

Grief support and counseling

Personal Care

Our hospice team includes:

Nurses. Licensed Social Workers. Home Health Aids. Spiritual Counselors

Volunteers who are thoroughly screened and specially trained to help hospice patients
