North Shore Baptist Church

23 West Main Street
631-269-1050

North Shore initially began to make a difference in Kings Park and its surrounding communities in 1967. The original members of the church began as a small group of people meeting in a local home. Within a few years, they helped develop a community center for local kids, helped serve those who struggled with addictions, and grew large enough to purchase property and build a meeting facility. Soon after, the young, thriving, and ambitious congregation began the hard work of starting other churches in our area.

Beginning in 2007, we launched a new direction for our church community. North Shore today is a young, vibrant group of everyday people just like you. This group of everyday individuals sharesthe same passion for God and people that engulfed that first group of members in 1967. We are who we are today because of what they were back then, and we prepare the next generation to follow in those footsteps.

Our Church is a diverse community of Christians who come from many places and have many different stories to tell about how they came to Kings Park and North Shore. Our desire is to honor God with whole-hearted worship, community life, service to others, life-application discipleship, and introducing all peoples to Jesus. We long to see our community become fully developed followers of Jesus Christ. It is our intent to continue to build on the vision of that founding group in 1967, taking it beyond anyone's wildest expectations. We will continue to increase the number of Life Groups in our church and through them, engage our community.Through our Life Group ministry we anticipate finding strategic locations to launch new churches. When you visit North Shore you can expect to be warmly welcomed, to hear the morning buzz of music playing and people chatting, to have fresh food and refreshments (at The Gathering), to be engaged by good music that has a Cross-centered message, and to find the preaching true to the Bible and relevant to life. We hope you take the opportunity to visit us on a Sunday in the near future and experience
North Shore personally.
