History:

Every effort was made to insure that the information given here is accurate. To include everything that has happened since the founding of Scouting in the United States in 1910 is impossible.

About:

The Northeaster Pennsylvania Council serves Packs, Troops, Crews, Posts and Groups with 5,816 registared scouts. The council is divided into three districts. Endless Mountains, Iron Horse, and Two Mountains.

The Council Provides:

Professional Staff members to aid everyone in a quality scouting program.
Activities to support unit programs
Formal training and supplies for all adult members.
A variety of forms, flyers, and Kits
Handeling all scouter resistrations with national
Aid with starting new units
Annual planning calenders
School night Flyers and kits
Awards, Knots, Ribbons for units and leaders
Maintains an insurance liability policy that protects all leaders and sponsoring organizations from a lawsuit arising from accidents during Scouting activities.
