NW Cook Sierra Club

The Northwest Cook County Group is your local group of the Illinois Sierra Club. The Sierra Club is America's oldest, largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization. Founded in 1892 by John Muir and other supporters, the Sierra Club's goal is to explore, enjoy and protect the planet. We have approximately 2,000 members in the northwest suburbs of Cook County.
