The Great Commission of Jesus is to go into all the world and preach the Gospel. We at OBCC place missions outreach as a supreme priority. Our missions vision is lived out by our strong missions giving, our many short term missions trips each year, and our Missions conference in the fall and our Missions festival in the Spring.

Statement of Beliefs

There is one true God consisting of three interrelated persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, has always existed and is our only Lord and Savior.

The human race was created good and upright by God, but fell from innocence by deliberate choice.

Salvation from human falleness is available through the amnesty provided by the Lord Jesus Christ upon the Cross.

There are two ordinances of the church: Water Baptism and Holy Communion.

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a second work of grace, following the experience of the new birth, and is available to all Christians.

Sanctification is a process of separation from sin and devotion to God.

The Church is the body of Christ on earth and serves the purpose of exalting God, edifying believers, and evangelizing the world.

Every believer is gifted by God, and is called to be involved in the utilization of individual spiritual gifts for the betterment of God's collective people, the Church.
