Oakdale High School, built in 1923, is governed by the Allen Parish School Board and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Its administration, guidance counselor, faculty, and staff provide state-approved academic, vocational, and special education classes that along with successful completion of the Graduate Exit Exam allow qualified students to receive diplomas issued by the Louisiana State Department of Education. With modern technology, a well-developed media center, and appropriate, well-supervised extra-curricular activities, Oakdale High School strives to provide each student an opportunity to learn, grow and prosper in a safe wholesome environment.
