Arts & Culture for Oswego County is a non-profit organization, established as an advocate for the arts and cultural community in the county. Its mission is to provide services designed to enhance the professional development of individual artists and arts and cultural organizations, to advocate for the arts and to develop awareness and appreciation of arts and culture among county residents.

The services provided by our organization are:

  •  a county-wide calendar of arts and cultural events
  •  a newsletter with information of interest to the arts and cultural community
  •  workshops for organizations and artists on various aspects of professional development
  •  public service announcements for radio and cable TV on events in the county
  •   a library of resource information
  •   technical assistance and referrals

In addition, the organization acts as an advocate for the arts and cultural community with government, educational and business leaders on local, state and national levels. ACOC will also continue to assess the needs in the county and increase services as appropriate. ACOC provides services, on a county-wide basis, for individual artists in all disciplines, arts association, libraries, historical societies, theater groups, musical groups, presenting organizations, folk art groups, etc.
