Pasando Tiempo Winery And Vineyards

277 Dandelion Road

Open: Year-Round

Chris Carpenter has long dreamed of opening a winery.  In 2005 the Pasando Tiempo Vineyard was planted with the help of his extended family, and a few very good friends. That was the beginning of a family business. Today, these same family members and friends still help with the winery.

Whether it be maintaining the website, posting events on facebook, scheduling wine events, working in the wine tasting room or out in the vineyard, every family member has a part in the success of Pasando Tiempo Winery. It's been several years coming, the tasting room is now open for its third season, and Chris's dream is being realized.

Terrible service! We waited over 40 minutes to be served and then had to drink out of plastic cups that blew everywhere while we watched other parties who arrived after us be given priority.

Today we enjoyed good conversation with Chris and Martha at their vineyard. A surprise tasting for us was their Gewurztraminer, new this season. They know their wines and make everyone feel like 'old time friends'... a wonderful feeling!

40 of our great friends, held a going away party for us, along with our hosts - Martha and Chris, the vintner. The service and conversations were truly enjoyable; ... the wines, excellent. Tents stayed the summer heat and everyone had a great time. The Malvasia Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah and '14' Zinfadel were my favorites. Pasando Tiempo is a tucked away gem in the Corrales / Albuquerque setting and truly worth visiting.
