Patch-Work Farm

19836 Lincoln Highway West
574-936-4505

Our goal is to provide wholesome, naturally grown produce to our local community. We work hard to create a family environment for our subscribers. A full share is aproximately one, full brown grocery bag a week, enough for a family of four. A half share is approximately half of a brown grocery bag a week, enough for two people. I offer non-working shares and working shares. We offer a "shopping basket" approach so subscribers can choose what they want each week from what is available.

Our farm is small and family operated. We raise and work registered Suffolk draft horses, we have a mixed herd of goats, chickens and raise a steer and sometimes pigs for our own use and to provide naturally grown, chemical, hormone and antibiotic free products to local consumers. We grow a large garden every year and this year are starting a CSA on a limited basis. Our goat herd is made up of Toggenburg/Nubian cross milk goats and Boers. Their milk is used raw for drinking, soap and cheese. Our chickens are fed organic feed that has no animal by-products in it and are allowed to free range as the weather permits. We have a few heritage breeds such as Black Australorps, Buff Orpingtons, Americaunas, and Barred Rocks that lay brown and green eggs.
