The PEER Advocate Program of Polk County is seeking individuals 60 and older who are interested in making a difference. Our PEER Advocates provide one on one assistance, helping people 60 and older connect with services that may help them remain independent. Duties may include delivering emergency meals, providing information or helping someone apply for services. Each assignment is unique, based on the needs of the individual. Our volunteer program provides ongoing education on resources and topics that are important to seniors, as well as an opportunity for networking.
