The Phoenix Martial Arts Center offers both Tai Chi and Self-Protection classes. Tai Chi classes are taught progressively, from the basics of standing stake, qigong exercises, to silk reeling and forms. Self-protection applications are sometimes used to make the forms come alive by simulating real-world scenarios.
The Phoenix Self Protection System is designed for non-martial artist to develop skills that will help them deal with and escape aggressive confrontations. Topics covered include awareness and self-defense (standing and ground).
