Pickering Valley Elementary School

121 Byers Road
610-458-5324

Pickering Valley Elementary School can be found on 22 acres in the rural town of Eagle, which is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, 35 miles west of Philadelphia. Our original school was built in 1965. In 1975 a remodeling project doubled the size of our school. We just finished building a new school on the same campus, and will be demolishing our old school. We are one of nine elementary schools, which make up the Downingtown Area School District. Currently, our school population is 725 students, comprised of grades Kindergarten through fifth.

Proud of our tradition of excellence, our mission is to educate all students to meet the challenges of a global society by providing an individually responsive learning environment characterized by outstanding academic and personal achievement in partnership with family, students and community.
