Provide a means by which individuals and businesses can make financial and material donations to our schools.

Sponsor the effective demonstration of new programs & technology.

Award grants to staff, faculty & students who aspire to creative, innovative solutions.

Strengthen ties with alumni/ae & former staff.

Support fundraising through special events, annual giving, targeted campaigns, grants & endowment.

Strive to strengthen relationships with individuals, business & industry for the benefit of our students.

Superintendent Horschak developed the concept of a Pittsford School Foundation in 1991, when the the budget did not pass. It was deemed critical to develop a Foundation as an opportunity to identify non-tax dollars to support needs of the Pittsford School District.

In 1992, the Foundation was formed under the leadership of Superintendent John O'Rourke with its mission and focus being developed by its President Douglas Pelino and Board.
