I really loved the level of attention I received at Placentia -Linda Hospital, Dr Lu and all the nurses were always very polite and caring. Melisa my Nurse was fantastic and she was willing to help with minute of request. Is not fun to be sick but definitely having the best medical staff always makes anyone feel better.

I would give no stars on this hospital. Simply rude and moody staff. Staff had no compassion and always in a rush. And when my family asked for something they rolled their eyes and seem they were bother. My love one went to the bathroom on her self many times because no one bother to come. Simply awful. Do not come here. Not professional and stressful. Go to StJude or kaiser

Needed a chest x-ray just to confirm I didn't have TB for some volunteer work I do, so I went to the local walk-in place and they said they'd do it for $105 but to check with the imaging centers affiliated with my insurance to see if they'd do it for less. So I went to Placentia Linda imaging center and the nice lady at the check-in desk said it would be $85 (I think it was...that's close) so of course I had it done there, instead of the walk-in place for $105. A month later I get a bill for about that from the Radiologist that "read" the x-ray and issued the report. Then a month after that I get a bill from the hospital for over $300 ! ! ! I complained but still had to pay it.... Bottom Line: DO NOT TRUST WHAT THEY TELL YOU WHEN YOU CHECK IN!

I got more compassion from the med student than the actual doctor. I heard the doctor give a scoffing laugh and say in a rude tone she wasn't going to prescribe me a certain medication, that's fine but she didn't need to be rude about it. Also heard her being snarky about another patient. She came in and tried to act a little nicer, not knowing that I overheard her and her unnecessary tone. She leans over the bed at one point, once again with an attitude that I found unnecessary, and asks me what I want them to do. I tell her I don't know and I was sent there because I couldn't wait for my doctors appointment which was weeks away. They did absolutely nothing for me, didn't help me get prescriptions that I have a record of being prescribed and allowed to get. I was told while they were taking my temperature and blood pressure that the doctor is probably not going to prescribe me what I believed I needed by a nurse, who though she said she was dealing with the same illness I was did not seem to be compassionate either. I told her if the doctor isn't going to prescribe it I might as well not waste my time, she proceeds to convince me to stay, I bet if I had left at that point I wouldn't have had to pay anything. They did absolutely nothing were not understanding or empathetic , except the med student and a male nurse I saw briefly who was polite and professional, then took my insurance information at the end while I was walking out. I'm very certain I or my insurance is going to have to pay for this visit, where I left in worse condition mentally than when I showed up. It makes you wonder why someone would enter this field if they don't have any compassion or empathy to give. The main issue isn't even that they didn't give me any medication there are rules and regulations, I understand that, but you don't need to be snarky or convince people to stay so they get charged when you know good and well no one is going to give them anything to help their condition.

I just had visited here, due to the fact I have no free-time during regular hours and have had an infected finger for over a month. First the doctor was very rude and had major attitude issue. She immediately dismissed me before even actually looking at anything and told me it was all in my head yet weeks ago the doctor had said I definitely had a problem and just earlier it have been leaking dark yellow pus. After being sent away on medication that was supposed to fix it, one that I was already on and was doing nothing, I got to my car to realize I had left a bag. I turn back for the bag and when I got back asked to check the room I was in. This was no more than eight minutes maximum after I left. I was denied it the ability to do so. Then I asked for security cameras to prove that happened and was denied. I feel a little argument security came out to allow me to check the room. But now I had been over 20 minutes, whatever they wanted was gone because my bag was not there. They then refuse to do anything more or give me anyone else's contact. This is absolutely unacceptable!!!! I expect to be contacted!
